Those brides doing the envelope box...

Are you haunted by people telling you 'DON'T TAKE YOUR EYES OFF THE BOX ALL NIGHT' or
'Don't let anyone walk off with your box!'.

Okay, so I'm doing this box - however, do I hire future brother in law to man the box the whole night?

My box is big and heavy enough that everyone would notice someone carrying it out. i'm not worried about it.

well my box is a big church that i KNOW my granathr will stand next to the whole night telling everyone exactly how he built it...he wouldnt let that thing go ANYWHERE!

but YES people have said that..i wouldnt worry...someone would se them walk off with it..and besides..they put it near the dias table and everyone's eyes are always in hat direction!

i wouldnt worry!

I didn't worry at all.

Our box was right behind our table. So close family was near by (mainly MIL and FIL) and all was good.

If you are that worried about it, assign it to someone you trust, so they can 'watch over it' but I think you should be okay!

Mine is going to be big enough where you would notice someone taking it out, so I am not worried.

Ours was behind us and people really didn't start putting stuff in until they were leaving (some were in earlier) but our families were near by.
I wasn't worried at all!!!

same here, but Im sure my DOC kept an eye on it too and DH's aunt!!!!!

edited to say- I forgot it was AFTER the wedding and where am I going to put it that concerned everyone b/c we went to a hotel after the wedding and had an after party so we had DH's aunt who also lives 5 doors down take it home and we got it the next day- DO NOT leave it in your room- I have heard of theft b/c the staff knows youre coming from a wedding and whether or not your in the room if you are at the bar.
