How did you coordinate them? I would like to do a donation to the American Breast Cancer Society, but I am not sure how to go about doing it and if they give donation cards.

I went on to the 'I DO FOUNDATION' website. You can make a donation to any non profit organization you want. You can also place an order for donation cards, which we placed on each persons plate. I think we got 100-150 cards for like $40.

we are doing the no kill foundation for animals which is in Flushing. I am making dog biscuit shaped cookies and writing the cards myself. My MOH has a baking obsession that is almost as bad as mine so we are looking forward to doing this!

I just called the hospital that we are donating to and I will be adding a tag to a box of truffles noting that a donation was made.

We are making a donation to the Ameican Cancer Society. They have all the information about making donations as wedding favers on their website. They even make the cards stating a donation was made for free, in any size, style, color you want. They made it very easy to give to a good cause.

this girl from theknot has a pic of donation favors in her bio that she did at her wedding. they donated to the Susan G. Koman (?sp) foundation for breast cancer Tsnow Bio
This is another bio that has the donation cards as well. She actually designed them herself---and she does them for other people. (As well as favor tags, invites, programs, etc.) She's very reasonable. CherylandCliff
If you want to use the last girl's services (she truly does a great job on everything from card boxes to donation cards to seating charts) just FM me and i'll fwd her e-mail to anyone that wants it!!!!

we donated to Long Island Cares and we're going to put something in 1 frame per table telling our guests what we did in lieu of favors....

We donated to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
Information is on their website. You can choose from a scroll or a bookmark.
If you check out the charity's/foundation's website, there's usually a portion on 'Giving in Honor of a Special Occasion.' That's how I found out about the scrolls that Children's Hospital Boston provides.
I wanted to go directly through Children's to make sure they received 100% of the donation...
