Those going to Hawaii on your HM

I'm in the process of getting ready to book my HM to Hawaii. Anyone going to Hawaii, what islands are you going to and what hotels are you staying at?

I know we only plan to do 3 islands - The Big Island, Oahu, and Maui. So far it looks like we're doing 2 nights in Oahu, 3 nights at the Big Island, and 4 nights in Maui. (We're only going for 10 days cause that's really all the time I can get off for from work).

I'm interested in knowing what hotels people recommend, and maybe anything you might've added on like tours and activities. Thanks.

I am honeymooning in Maui, I have been to Kauai before as well. its georgeous. Honolulu, oahu is more like a new york city, large touristy city but the northshore is super beautiful

We're doing 2 islands, kauiai (sp?) and maui, we're staying at the fairmont in maui and the hyatt in kaiai

we are staying at the Outrigger in Oahu and the Hyatt in Maui. We are also staying at the Hyatt in Kuaui

Ok so I think we're going to do the Outrigger in Oahu, Marriott Resort and Spa on the Big Island, and the Marriott Wailea in Maui. I went and got the Frommer's book for Hawaii, which gave me great info about the places. Can't wait to book this already!!!

WE are going to Maui and Kuai and staying at the Hyatt on both. Our TA told us they offer deals if you stay at the same hotel chain on numerous islands. You might want to look into that.

I booked my trip using this site - the cheapest prices on hawaii i could find (beat TT and all the other TA's)

I posted on BHB- we are staying in Waikiki for 4 nights then taking an inter-ialans cruise for 7 nights. FM for details

Thanks for the website info. FH's cousin works for Amex and does stuff with travel there, so she's booking the trip for us. I went to the website you listed and checked out the hotels we're going to book, and the prices are similiar to what she was giving us. Can't wait to book!!!!
