Wow i have never heard of someone doing it on their own ...i always thought the hall gave it to you...i think it is such a good idea...i wonder if i should do it ..i guess i would have to ship everything to Aruba though

I think in Aruba, it would turn into Fondue!! lol. (I'd rather be in Aruba!!!)

There were a few girls on here that did it on their own. If you do a search, you'll see a few. One girl did it on her own at the North Ritz Club and did a FANTASTIC job!

Coll - if you end up doing it, you could totally borrow mine from my candy bar (you may not remember them - since it was the end of the night - haha). I have I think 11 containers (including 4 penny jars) and scoops.

I will post pics later - I had all blue candy:

Candy sharks
Candy sour licorice sticks
Jordan Almonds

Blue and red watermelon slices (jelly)

I think I am forgetting some.

My fav site to get candy from was candyfavorites.com. Best delivery (so quick) and service. I also ordered from oldtimecandy.com and candydirect.com.

ETA: My hall set it up so nicely. They incorporated some extra fans from the ceremony and it looked so nice! I had little chinese containers with labels for people to put candy in (some people took more than one!)

Bed, Bath and Beyond sells SCOOPS??? Like, SILVER ones? Where?? I've only been to BBB a MILLION times and NEVER saw them! Wow!

yes they do!!!!

they have the 'ice scoops' which are 7.95 EACH. which was too much to buy for the candy buffet.

but if you look where they have the kitchen gizmos (can openers and such). they have them hanging on a hook on the wall. they come in packs of three (i think) and they're cheap
