I printed them directly on to the envelopes. Really took no time at all! I downloaded a font called Chopin Script and I love the way it looks!!

I'm using my computer. Just using the same font I'm using on the invites.

The person I bought the invitations from is printing them on her computer.

I picked a pretty font, grey ink, and did them on a color printer. They came out beautiful!

thats what I'm gonna do too...But I have another ques..did you have your return address pre-printed on the back?

Edited to say: I didn't have mine b/c I didn't want the return address printing raised and the front address not be..does that make sense?

We are printing right on the envelopes. I cringe wvery time an envelope goes in the printer. But so far we've only messed one up. They look really pretty. I also downloaded the font from the internet, I think it's called Easy Street

Oh I did have the return address pre-printed. It does make sense that you would want the 2 to look the same. I didn't think about that. But then I don't know how you would get the return address on the back

How do I know what the name of my font is? The invitation place goes by number...do I just search and compare?

I did mine directly on the computer... Only lost 2 envelopes our of 140 because they jammed. The invitation company usually sends extra envelopes. I used the nicest font that I could find, didnt try to match it with the font on the invitations.
If I were you I would just go threw and compare, you may not find the exact match, but you'll def find something close to it
Good luck

this is what we did for our save-the-dates (bad pic, but you get the idea)... i'll do something similar for our invite envelopes as well...

I addressed mine by hand in my fanciest penmanship. I was surprised when people asked me who did them.

I am having my mother do them --she has great handwriting and feminine...unless I find the font to download...

Re: Those not using a calligrapher...

i'm doing it on the computer- my handwriting stinks and i could do without the extra cost of a calligrapher

Yes, I printed the return address on the back of the envelopes.

I made my own invites so I knew the font name. I guess if you dont know- ask or compare until you find one that matches.
