yeah, I was just thinking about this too, I want a little get away right after the wedding, but we are waiting a few months for our big hm, maybe like a bed and breakfast somewhere?

Yes, we are probably going to take a mini moon to the Poconos area... The Lodge at Woodloch. Saw it in the newspaper once, it looked gorgeous.

We just went to Danfords for a couple of nights.
Not a very good experience, but as least the couples massage we had wasnice.
I couldn't even take a real minimoon because of Grad school.

We will be taking our honeymoon in the summer after our December wedding, but it turns out that we have a destination wedding to go to in February after the wedding, it's on a cruise, so we are thinking of that as a 'minimoon' for us! If we didn't have that I am not sure we would have planned something, although I like the idea of it! THis just worked out for us.

Since FH is starting a new job tomorrow we are glad we did not book our HM yet. Depending on his work schedule we will go away for a night or two.

FH and I are doing a Mini-Moon to the Poconos (where he proposed), and will do something bigger for our first anniversary

we just booked 3 nights in Montauk for right after the wedding and then will be going on our HM about a month later. We've never been to Montauk before even though we live on LI and it's something we say we want to do every summer...so this was a good chance to finally plan a few nights out east.

what about newport?
its only a few hours away, you can take the ferry from orient point and then its only an hour or so away from the port
there is this amazing bed and breakfast called the victorian ladies the innkee[ers are great and make super yummy breakfast!
theres a port nearby where you can take a romantic sunset sail tons of nice restaurants
i highly rec!!!

we're doing a quick cruise out of miami, it's 4 days, next year on our one year anniversary we're going to Napa Valley and Hawaii I can't wait!!!

We will probably only spend our wedding night and maybe half the day on Sunday at a nice hotel in the city. Both of us will still be taking classes part time so we can't steal away for more than a few days.
