Those of you that used 12th night.....

How long did it take to get your proofs? I called yesterday and they told me the average time is 8-12 weeks. How crazy is that???? 8-12 weeks to put pictures on a CD - has anyone else run into this problem with them?

I'm using 12th Night. They color correct every single picture. It's not just 'putting them on a disk' that's why it takes so long. That way when you get them, they are perfect.

See Dominic told me that they don't do that for every proof. And they didn't do it at all for my engagement photos.

I beleive they do the color corrections to all of the pictures that go on the slideshow DVDs. Remember that they go through ALL of your proofs to pick out the best ones for the DVDs. But then they give you a CD with ALL of your proofs on them for your own use. I would say that 8-12 weeks is not that bad considering that this is high wedding season. They probably have shoots evert Fri, Sat & Sun for the entire summer. It probably won't even take that long. He is probably just giving himself extra time incase It takes longer that he expects.

I used 12th night - I got my proofs and DVD about 12 weeks after the wedding. It was worth the wait.

i got mine in 10 weeks.. and its worth the wait
they look at each picutre and individually fix it
and they hand pick all the pics for ur dvd slideshow...

they told you that when you booked them so the time frame shoudlnt be a big surprise
