Re: Those of you using Dr. Brown's bottles
I upgraded to level 2 when Emily was three months old. It made a big difference. She took her bottle a lot faster. I haven't upgraded to a 3 yet. She seems fine on the level 2 so I think I am going to leave it alone. Hope that helps.

Thanks I just checked their website and it says 3 months also so I'm off to buy stage 2 nipples.

Re: Those of you using Dr. Brown's bottles
IMPORTANT!! If you are nursing, DO NOT switch to the level 2 nipples!! I switched at 5 months (because I never knew you were supposed to switch) - within DAYS Angela weaned herself off the breast. Only after this happened was I told that if you are nursing you shouldn't switch. If you are nursing, you need to stay with the level 1 nipples. As far as level 3's go, I think you only need to use those if for some reason you have to put cereal in the bottle.

Re: Those of you using Dr. Brown's bottles
I switched Jack at 3 months since he kept falling asleep on his bottle since he was working too hard to get the formula out...wasn't coming fast enough for him. Problem stopped immediately after going to the next size nipple.
