Those of you who are going to or went to Cancun...
We want to go to Cancun for our honeymoon and don't know where to stay. We want to stay in a beachfront hotel that has suites and also want to be close to the clubs and bars. Has anyone stayed at the Melia Terquesa or Omni?

I'm not sure how close it is to the bars, but I've heard great things about the Palace Resorts. They're all-inclusive and you 'stay at one play at five', or something like that. Some of them are adults only and have hot tubs in every room.

We went to Cancun a few years ago. I can't recall the hotel, but I believe they are all beachfront. They are all close to the bars, because there is a bus that will come and pick you up about every 5 minutes! It is really cheap, like 50cents. They run all night!
Cancun is great! You will have a great time!

FI went to Cancun a few months before he met me and he stayed at the Melia. He said its AMAZING!!! It's a little expensive and isnt all inclusive but the rooms are out of this world
FI and I went to Cancun together in 2000 and we stayed at the Carribbean village. It's an Allegro Resort. It was awesome. It's all inclusive, the rooms are beautiful and its close to everything

We're staying at a palace resort (aventura spa). It's like 45 mins outside of Cancun though. EVERYONE I know that went to one of their 5 resorts LOVED THEM!!!

When I went I stayed here: Sheraton Cancun Resort and Towers The Sheraton Cancun Resort and Towers is a beachfront resort situated on Mexicos Caribbean coast.
They had butler service in the towers and they even brought us drinks into the ocean!
Not every hotel is beach front due to the hurricane yrs ago, Be sure to ask if there is a beach in front of the hotel you choose.
