those of you who DIY'd your invites

what type of glue/tape did you use to attach your invites to the pocketfolds? I want something that will stick, but not produce bubbles or lifting of the corners.

I went to michaels, and the associate suggested a glue stick or hot glue gun. . This doesn't seem right.

any other suggestions?

We're using acid free double sided photo mounting tape to seal our pocketfolds. See below:

It won't degrade over time and sticks to itself and paper well.

I used the clear glue dots. Did most of the invites a few months ago and they still look good

I am using glue dots THEY ROCK and are easy bc you don't have to cut anything down or peel film from either side.

I used glue dots to attached the favor tags to the boxes and they worked great. The edges don't stick up at all and it's very secure. They also sell glue strips which might even work better since you can stretch out across the length of the invitation.
