Those of you who ordered/rec'd your gown from Bridal Reflections

In Carle Place, I want to call to go see/maybe try on my dress, I just have to make a regular appointment right?

And I scheduled my first fitting for the end of Sep. Is that to late? My wedding is Thanksgiving weekend, so I will probably pick it up before the holiday...TIA

Tell them you are making an appt to try on your *actual* dress because they have to pull it out of storage -- they don't keep them in the same place as the samples. I scheduled my first fitting for about a month and a half before my wedding date so.... I think Sept is fine for you.

Late Sept. is fine. I have my 1st fitting Sept 15th and I am getting married on Nov 5th. They told me middle of Sept is good.

I went to see my dress and try it on when it came in. I just called and told them what I wanted to do. I got my dress from the Massapequa store.

I also went to try on my dress when it came in- Just make an appointment. I was told to schedule my first fitting about 1 month before the wedding

I went to try on my dress as soon as it came it. I waited 10 months for it so I ran there when I got the call! I went one other time after that to try it on with jewlery and all the stuff. Just tell them that is what you want to do and they will pull it out for you. I went for my first fitting about 2 months before, but the gown needed a good deal of alterations so I wanted to get a head start. I think your fitting appt is fine. Lee was my seamstress and I highly recommend her!

Lee was my seamstress as well, and she did a great job. I ordered my dress only a few months before the wedding, so it only came in a month before the wedding. I had 3 fittings and it was done on time. Just make your appointments early because they aren't open every day, and they book up quickly - especially the evening appointments.
