Those of you with Bands

Are you having your band sing your first dance song or are you having the cd version of it from the artist ?

haven't decided on that one yet....still torn....

we are paying all that $$ for a band, and then to use a CD, it makes me think we should have them sing it...but I like the original version...

i'd like to see what other people say...

yea we are bouncing that around too. its like so much money for the band & the bigest deal is the first dance , , im gonna wait & see too, LOL

good questions, we are on the fence. If we choose roberta flack song, its gonna be hard for a 4 man irish band to pull off!!

Like us , we have elvis, & imo, i dont care who can sing , its hard to duplicate elvis..

Im gonna let my band sing it ... i wouldnt want them to do an amazing light show - and start off the night playing a CD instead of singing. .. i know they practice the 1st song like crazy - so im gonna let them do what im paying them to do - and sing!

we are letting our band sing it.....the lead male vocalist is one of Andy's good friends so its going to make it sound even more special...

having them sing it, I think. I just feel that it will kind of interupt the flow of things for the band to step down or stop playing and put on a cd. And I chose them because I think they'll do a great job on ALL the songs I want played, so it would be silly to me to not let them do their job!
