those that read my 'never a dull moment at work' post...

apprently my company doesn't appreciate the fact that i sent them a picture of the falsified reciept for training purposes...they say thats not standard procedure and against company policy to take a picture of or photocopy a reciept...they also said 'you're not paid to play detective'. GOD FORBID someone tries to save them from losing THOUSANDS of dollars in just 1 weekend in stolen merchandise and false cash refunds. just one more reason i effing hate my job. so effing unappreciative.

Not for nothing, but that's why I do the minimal amount of work that is required of me. Because my company is the exact same way. So why am I going to bust my a ss so you guys can profit and still not back me up on other things?? I know exactly where you're coming from. At least you tried!

yeah, I'm looking but it's hard because i'm trying extra hard to be selective and not take just any job to get out of where i am because thats what landed me in this job.

i know! i totally get that they worry about getting sued by these thieves for discrimination or whatever...but they can't sue you if you actually witnessed them stealing!!! its a private business...we can choose to do business with whomever we choose. they do nothing to rectify the theft issue...but yet they sent a memo out saying they can't afford to give anyone raises this yr.

don't you just love how companies appreciate all the hard work their employees do for them?

I hate that companies do shiiiit like this.
If you hadn't caught the people, and done everything you could to prevent it and they found out about it, I wouldn't be surpised if they got mad you about NOT doing what you did.
It's ridiculous.

Smile and nod and let the customers get away with murder, then go home and rest easy knowing that it's THEM that lost thousands, not you.
