What did you write it on? Did you write it on a scroll of paper and roll it up? Or did you write it on a card that sits on the table so it doesn't have to be opened? Also - are you doing one for every couple or just a few on each table? Thanks!

Depending on the organization that you are planning on giving the donation, some of them provide the scrolls already for you.
ETA>>I went to a wedding back in February and the organization provided the scrolls for them which were very tasteful and they put a few on each table. I think they did per couple.

I'm doing this but I haven’t done the wording yet It will be something like 'In Lieu of wedding favors we have made a donation in your name to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. I dont have the pic but it's from Martha Stewart and they are card stock folded in a box leaving either end open with a sticker to hold it's shape.

I made a donation newsletter, rolled it up in a scroll and tied it with gold ribbon. Each person received one.
The newsletter explained the organization: International FUnd for Animal Welfare, and the four specific campaignes we were supporting through our donation.
We put a little note together on a card which was lamanated and then we punched a hole in the top so the ribbon with our names and wedding date could go through, they came out pretty nice. I'm very happy with them.

I think you already saw mine... I am printing up my own scrolls. To get them from the foundation we would need to make a much bigger donation. So I am doing my own, similar wording to above. I am rollin it up and attaching it to a box filled with candy! Here are some pics... first the one I made as a sample (but will have a nicer label), second the one I got the idea from.
ETS: One per person. Will be waiting on each plate.
