dumb question - if you're planning to hold one of those 'Thank You' parasol as your pic for the thank you cards, where/when do you actually take that picture? Do you tell your DOC to hold it for you until the photog is done taking all the pics? Or do you carry it around until after the reception? Or do you have the photog take it right away so you can just return the parasol to a BM or DOC to store it away?
Just trying to visualize what stuff I need to pack/keep track of for day of...thanks!

Does your photog have an assistant that could hold it for you?
If your DOC is coming with you for photos I'm sure she/he could hold it.

You should be able to drop a bunch of stuff off that belongs to your wedding to your reception venue ahead of time to hold for safe keeping, just keep a list of the things you give them to make sure you get everything back.
That way all you should have to worry about is your marriage license the day of. Remind the photographer

That's what I am doing droping everything off at the RH.
