Maybe I should have elaborated... the envelopment is going to have my invitation ATTACHED to it.
Does everything still go inside it?

I wouldn't put all of the info inside the actual envelopment, I guess it would all go inside the outer envelope. (assuming that you aren't using inner envelopes in addition to envelopments) Could you maybe get a smaller envelope to put inside to hold the rest of the info, just to keep it all contained? Have you considered pocketfolds? Similar style to envelopments, but with a small pocket, and it only folds over from the top and bottom, there aren't side flaps like the envelopment has.

I really love the look of envelopments, but I love the idea of the little pocket to hold the info on the pocketfolds. Tough choice, I'd probably go with the pocketfolds though. (not sure if you're even considering them, just giving my opinion. )

Re: THOSE WHO ARE USING/USED ENVELOPMENTS...
When you say attached, is it actually glued down to the envelopment? My invitations are similar except nothing is attached so I am putting all of the other cards underneath the invite. Can you do that? Here's a pic of mine. You can't tell from the picture, but everything comes out so the reception & rsvp cards will go underneath and then a sheet of velum will lay on top of everything. Maybe you could leave everything loose so you could do that too? Or can you get the style that has the pockets built in?
I was thinking about leaving it loose. Then I dont have a problem. Yeah, I guess thats what Ill have to do.

Re: THOSE WHO ARE USING/USED ENVELOPMENTS...
I used a very similar envelopment to what you are planning on doing except mine was the 7x7 square. I placed everything inside the envelopment. Reason being is that if you leave it outside and then seal the envelope (since you have no inner env.) everything shifts all over the place. When guests open the envelope, everything would be a mess.
My ribbon was on the outer part of the envelopment. So when guests untie the ribbon and pull the seal up, the first thing they see is the little cards. Them remove those and voila! the invite.
