those who did wine favors

Where did you order your bottles from? If you order wholesale from a vineyard, is there much of a price difference? Did you just go to a store and tell them how many you needed?

i really think FH and I want to do this as a favor and was looking online for pricing and wasnt finding much

thanks

We found that you could get a better price at the local stores than at the Vineyards.

We used Pindar Winter White for our wine favors, and got them from Bottles & Cases in Huntington. They run specials, so if you are organized & do it in advance, you can get an awesome price on them.

I just went to my local wine store. I live in Queens so I did not want to drive all the way to the vineyards. I picked a wine that I like to drink.
I was given a 10% discount, which seems to be standard. Very difficult to get wholesale prices.

But definitely check out Bottles & Cases. They have a website which lists their 'specials'.

when i shopped around i went to local stores.. we ended up going thru a family friend but when negotiating pirces with the local stores - some gave us 10% off plus no tax if we paid in full in cash..

they do give you great deals.. go to a couple and see which gives you the best one! GL!
