To be honest, I don't remember the last wedding that we did that at, and I'm wondering if anyone will even notice that we don't do it.

We got married at our RH and had the RH, after rolling out the aisle runner, sprinkle rose petals, that we brought to them. I do not think it made a difference....to be honest - it was windy and they blew everywhere(we were outside)

Birds eat it and get sick so people stopped doing that.
A lot of venues like flower petals, etc, because it's biodegradable and/or easier cleanup.

I haven't decided. I thought I wanted dried lavender and maybe I still do, but then I saw cute bubbles at the knot sale so I don't know, maybe we'll get that just for fun. I think people do it as you walk down the aisle after the ceremony at the RH. I'm not 100% sure though either!

we didn't and no one noticed at all. If its flower petals, our RH (same as yours?) said they have to be real so that they are biodegradable, you can't use fake ones.

We are having the flowergirl throw leaves. Its the fall season anyway so it goes with the ambiance.

I'm not going to, bc our ceremony space quickly gets turned over to CH and I dont want that mess. Plus, i dont wants anyone to have to clean it up since we are indoors...

They have bird friendly rice at Michaels. Thats what I am doing in little pouches.

We're having ours at the same place.. but as long as the weather is nice, the ceremony is outdoors the reception is indoors.
We'll be using petal cones filled with rose petals.
