So did you have a shuttle BEFORE the reception to the RH so their cars were there THEN had the shuttle to the hotel after RH?? We are having an after party and don't want people to worry about their cars the next day. TIA

We only had the shuttle after.... although I had an afternoon reception, so people weren't too tanked at that point and it seemed like everyone had a DD and/or were staying at the hotel anyway, so it seemed to work out fine.
i like the idea, but i think if an expense is a concern, i wouldn't bother. it's not that necessary

We only had the shuttle afterwards and no one used it. Alot of those that came back to the hotel had someone to drive them to the hotel.....our BPs cars were already at the hotel except for one-his GF drove everyone back to the hotel...same with most others.

i am having a shuttle to and from the RH but that is because we picked a hotel that had it available. I wouldn't want my car to be left at a RH overnight so i had to figure out how the hell to get it back the next day.

Us too! Our shuttle will run before and after, it was available from the hotel.

We had the bus leave from the hotel and return back to the hotel. Fortunately, the ceremony was at the hall, so this made it really convenient for the out of towners staying at the hotel.
A few years ago, a friend just had the bus at the end of the night. I didn't bother with it, cause I didn't want to go back and get my car the next day.
I would say it depends on the number of guests who will need transportation and how many are from out of town and whether or not people can carpool or take a shuttle from the hotel.
The bus is pricy, but in the end, we figured that it was worth it to not have to worry about people drinking and driving.

Thank you! We are having an afternoon wedding so the cars CAN'T be left at the RH. I just hope everyone takes the shuttle from the hotel to the RH if they plan on taking a shuttle back...stupid little details!

I had a shuttle from the hotel to the reception and from the reception back to the hotel.
The church was minutes away... most people brought their cars... went back to the hotel & caught the shuttle
