Did you experience any issues with this? Perhaps girls liking the same style or anything similar? If you did experience issues, how did you handle it?
I would like to start getting my BMs together, I love Jim Hjelm dresses and his color Apple is available in quite a few styles (Satin Faced Taffetta fabric) and I wanted the girls to pick their own style dress.
Can anyone offer any advice on this or suggestions?
Thanks for any input!

Re: Those who had BMs pick their own style dresses...
I am having the girls pick there own dresses but the designer has to be the same.. im going with like a red color and different designers have different shades.. so I want the color to match. But If I find that the majority of the girls pick the same dress then everyone has to wear the same dress.. Im not having one BM stand out.. I didnt get to this yet but this is my plan. But if your doing same color but different dress style make sure there all from the same designer.. u want the color to be the same

Yes yes! I really hope all the girls pick different styles...if too many end up liking the same one, then they'll wear the same dress. I picked Jim Hjelm because he had the most array of different styles, but I also need to stick with the same fabric that the color I want comes in because he has different colors for different fabrics. They have quite a few styles to choose from, either from his Separates line or his Occasions line. I just don't want this to blow up in my face, that some may argue over who likes/wants which style, etc etc. I really don't even care if a few want a tea length and others want gowns - as long as all are different! LOL
Thanks for the reassurance!
PS - I see you booked Imagine - I booked Lia too, she's so amazing!!!

Im becoming more and more a fan of the tea length.. My Mother is my MOH so her dress I want to be different.. its going to have to be more mom like . Cant have mom walking in with a low cut dress. I havent really started looking for BM dresses.. I still have to start looking for mine. But the different style dresses in the picture I like better. It gives everyone there own style.. and helps with the different framed bodies as well.
Yea Lia is awesome.. we just got back some of our e pictures back.. I am very pleased!

I definitely agree about the different styles. I want the girl to be comfortable in their dresses, some may prefer a style that flatters their figure specifically as well.
I scheduled my engagement session for next month, I really can't wait!

My BP are all wearing Bill Levkoff 2-piece sets in Euro Navy. They are each picking a different set. One chose strapless, one chose a tank top, one is deciding between a halter and spaghetti straps. They are all basically different variations of each other with the same or similar bottom. The ladies are of varying sizes and ages and they should all feel comfortable. The only two that have restrictions are my 12 and 14 year old nieces. They will not wear anything strapless. I think it is inappropriate for a young lady to wear a strapless dress. so they will choose one of the other designs but no two memebers of the BP will be in the same dress.Just the same material. Everyone loves the idea.

yes, and if you have any more photos - please share, they're beautiful! FI and I will be going to a park, instead of the beach.

I so agree! I have my 14 year old sister as one of my BMs and she will be put in a bateau-style top. I think I would like my other sister who is my MOH to be in a gown so she stands out a bit. I still have to discuss the specifics with all the girls, but most of them are liking the idea (my MOH like when all the girls are in the same dress though).

Yeah if my nieces look better in or prefer a dress than a set then so be it. Levkoff has so many to choose from that they will find something in the satin euro navy. They are not really developed physically with hips and boobs (unlike their aunt) so I want them to look appropriate and not sexy. Teenagers should not be sexy.
