our friend told us about it and she said it was great. Its like an adventure park type place, you can swin with dolphins etc... for our honeymmon we are going to Playa Del Carmen. Wanted to know what you girls thought of this as something to do there.

we've been to mexico but we haven't been to the park, but all people talk about it that park, it's apparently amazing. we were going to go to the royal hideaway for our HM but now i think we've decided to go to Grand Flameco Xcaret, which is right there.

LOL we went here!!! I believe it was either 2003 or 2004.
It was more fun for FH than it was for me - it really depends on your interests. I'm not big into snorkeling but there was a lot of that to do in Xcaret. So, FH loved it. There were some spots to jump off cliffs and stuff too. I sunbathed a lot, checked out some animals and watched FH.

I was in playa del....for 3 weeks...I am familiar with xcaret...I don't know where you're staying in playa, but you know you can rent your own little cabana literally on the beach with your own little umbrella, chairs and such

There are so many ruins to see in the area, I can recommend a few if you're interested, I can also tell you which towns to check out.
