Did many people participate? I am afraid of doing this and being disappointed that no one bothered to fill anything out.

I've been to a wedding where they have wish bowls and, much like the guest book, no matter how close I am to the person I never quite know what to write. So I usually end up with some kind of generic 'best wishes' thing. I don't know if that's how most people feel or if I'm just not good at expressing my feelings!

If I was doing this thing I would definitly have someone go around and be the 'guest book' person.
