Re: Those who have more than one registry...
i printed the suggestion list off fortunoff's and then crossed out everything we don't need. then i wrote next to each item which registry it's on or left it blank if it's not on yet but we want it. so far it seems to be working. good luck!

Re: Those who have more than one registry...
For us, it all depended on what we were registering for - that sort of dictated what registries we had. We kept categories of things with one registry (ex. formal china was better priced at one place) and other categories of things with another registry (ex. daily kitchen ware - pots, pans, utensils at another place). I would try to consolidate and not have too many registeries because it gets confusing for you and your guests.

Thanks ladies... I actually only have two registries and it's already going nuts!
I've tried the checklist thing, I think I should give that a shot again!

Re: Those who have more than one registry...
I print out our Macy's and Crate & Barrel registry on a regular basis and see what we don't need, what we do have, what we do need, and eliminate from there. After our wedding now, I do the same process. We'd registered for china and flatware at both stores. We didn't get all the quanities and pieces of china and flatware on our registries but decided on one set that we both really liked. Thus, we'd kept that one and returned the other and removed it from our registry.
I keep both registries on file in my wedding binder. I created my own wedding binder, bought the binder at Staples, dividers and three-hole puncher and put all my wedding contracts and important papers in there. For the contracts and really important papers like our marriage license that I did not want three hole punched, I'd bought clear plastic pocket sleeves that can go into the binder without being punched. Our computer has 995 files relating to our wedding of all formats: MS Word, Excel, HTML for our wedding websites, jpg for our pictures, etc. etc. I'm meticulously organized!

Re: Those who have more than one registry...
Lauren, where did you register besides fortunoff? Did you use 'the knot' at all?
