I am trying to decide which favor wine to get. It is between 'Estate Cellars' Chardonnay or E & J Gallo Chardonnay or E & J Gallo White Zinfandel. Sutter Home is also an option in Chardonnay and White Zinfandel. Ladies, I don't have a clue, please help.....I need to place an order today.

Pretty tough decision - all of those wines are very good. I had a hard time, but I ended up choosing the Sutter Home White Zin... the deciding factor? The color of the wine (pink)... I thought it matched best with the color theme.

I don't know if or why this is true but I've heard from a few people (independent of each other) that White Zin is not really 'sophisticated.' No idea why. But if you might have any wine snobs, I'd say go with a Chardonnay.

I agree. White Zin isn't really 'sophisticated', I think because its really sweet or something. I would go with Chardonnay as well. Its still a little fruity flavored, but not overly done.

I am not a fan of White Zin- it's because to me, it's like a wine cooler- what people who don't like wine drink. I think chardonnay is more sophisticated. I would go with the Sutter Home which I think is a *slightly* better brand than Gallo.
If you want 'pink' then try to go with a Rose from France.

I agree...although I wouldn't say white zin isn't sophisticated, as a wine drinker I don't like white zin...it is way too sweet and doesn't add to a meal the way white or red does. I'd go with Chardonnay.

I prefer E & J Gallo Chardonnay if I was given the menu you just provided.
I love Chardonnay and that would be the one I'd choose.

I know a lot about wine and I would recommend the Estate Cellars. You should see if you can get other varieties as well, like a merlot or cabernet sauvignon along with the chardonnay. People can then choose which one they would prefer.
