Those who made cry packs

Those who made cry packs

How many tissues were you able to fit into them? And about how much do you think they cost to do them yourself? I found someone who will make them for $0.25 each
Just curious if it would be cheaper to make them myself
TIA

I put one tissue per cry packet and they probably cost me about $.15 each to make.

I love the way yours came out too. Where did you get the labels?

they have them in the good things section of Martha Stewarts web site (those were like oragami ones - real cute) - but actually I thought Julz33 did some really pretty ones - I tend to like how that clear envelope thing looks.

I brought the envelopes, stuffed them with a tissue and made the labels myself.

I made them for probably less than that... didn't sit down and figure it out... but I only needed about 50... for that price I wouldn't mind paying but to be honest... I enjoyed making mine!

those are beautiful...what did you use, and how did you make them...also, did you make enough for everyone in the church...how did you figure that out.

THANKS!! I used pretty stationery and MS Word to print the lyrics to our First Dance song and our Names and the date. Then I folded them per the Martha Stewart directions and stuff a tissue or two.

I am expecting 180 guests at the reception but not nearly as many at the church... maybe 100 and you have to figure that the men will want nothing to do with these tissues so I made about 50 and I think that should be plenty.

OK I don't have a digital camera, but here's how I made mine:

I used the Martha Stewart Pattern.

I bought tissues with hearts on them for the insame price of $1 per pack of 10 (10 cents a tissue ) I cannot find the name of the company I bought them from. I did a google search to find them. I found a wedding chat web page out in San Diego (like LIW). See a picture of the tissues below.

I bought an embosser from MS with five disks and instead of using a stamp or sticker, I embossed them.

I bought my paper at Michaels (a mix of off-white with speckles, tan and brown)

I really need to take a picture so I can actually show what they look like

Re: Those who made cry packs

I bough the tissues at the food store...a package of the min pocket ones for about $2.99 for like 8 packs...only need like 2...and then the envelopes to put them in for $3.00 on e-bay and made the labels myself...some ribbon( a $1) , so for 50, its about 14 cents ( I could have made out of the supplies I had at least 100)

So its cheaper to do yourself!

Edited to say I fit two to three tissues in each envelope..
