Can you get a sample before placing an order..A sample of the completed invite??

I ordered mine from Precious Collection. I got a sample of the invite (before I ordered). When I ordered I got a sample, but its only on plain paper, like a photocopy.
Everything was fine I had no problems. I got them in about 2 weeks.
ETA: From this place you had to pay $10 for the sample. And if you wanted a sample of the rsvp and reception card they were also $10 each. I didn't bother with the others, only the invite.

Ok, I had a sample of the invite itself already but I'm afraid of placing an order and not liking it...OK...The sample you got with the wording ( photocopy) , did you get that by mail...like was it in enough time to cancel the order if you wanted to?

They wouldn't process the rest of the order until I approved the sample.
I don't know if there was a fee for canceling, you should look into that.
They would make changes, but if I wanted another proof it was another $10. But the sample I got was fine.

Find an invite you like and post it on the vendor board, maybe someone carries it and you can see it in person. Plus you get a lot of customer service from the invite vendors. I used Rebecca from Favorite THings Invitations and she was wonderful. I think her invites were the same price, but the enclosures were 5% more, but the customer service more then made up for it.

I ordered mine from uptowndowntownshopping.com and i didn't get a sample and it was perfect. just read it a million times over and then have like one or two other people read it over for correct grammar and spelling.

I got a pdf version of it to review. All you really need to proof is the spelling and layout and you can do that on a pdf or word document.
I had changes on them and then gave final approval after I saw the changes were made.
It was a flawless process.

I believe I got a catalog in the mail from the yesterday. THere was a sample invite in the book.

Just wanted to say I LOVE there invites!!! Over my budget but they are all fantastic!!!
