My Fh did it 5 years ago and he says it was the best investment he's ever made... I believe it was 1500 per eye or something.. but that was a long time ago..

Def do it....he was so happy he did.

I've heard that people say its the greatest thing. I'm not scared to have it done or anything, i'm just scared of the money part lol
FH said that it could be my wedding gift. which is fine with me. would make my life a million times easier. no more glasses/contacts would be just perfect

In the end it actually saves you money.. FH did the math..after glasses.contact lenses, solution..it pays off in the long run!!!

oh i believe it. just this year alone I already spent over $700 between contacts/glasses/exams.

the thought of being able to wake up in the morning and to look across the room at the clock and see it clearly without having to search around for my glasses, actually brings tears to my eyes lol

Re: Those who've had LASIK

I had it done 3 1/2 yrs ago at Stahl Eye Center by Dr. Terry Hufnagel. Had no issues whatsoever and think it was the best decision I ever made (besides saying yes to FH).
Worth every single penny. I really don't remember exactly how much it was but something like $3800 or around there with the eye coverage I had with Davis Vision.

DO IT!!!!!!!

i had it done at TLC - Dr. Speaker - on 57th Street. it's totally awesome. Mine was a bit expensive - I think around $5000 - but all covered under flex spending.

i definitely recommend it. when fh comes on my insurance he will probably get it done.

i had mine done like 4-5 yrs ago...dr weinstein in commack. i went there because an ex of mine had great results with him...and ive had no complaints so far either. my vision is 20/20 and it was horrible before that.

i believe mine was 3k total...i had the bladeless procedure and there was like lifetime correction if ever needed.

fyi - they say if u get lasik u run the risk of needing reading glasses earlier in life. for me...i didnt care...i just wanted to be able to see the alarm clock now

it's not just if you get lasik - there is always a risk of needing reading glasses after age 40... it's called presbiopia and lasik doesn't correct it. that's why people end up with bifocals.

i know when I got it done they were very specific that lasik doesn't correct that condition but I also didn't care because I was so blind that I can definitely deal with just reading glasses down the road.
