Those with Black Luggage!

How do you make your luggage distinct from all the others when traveling by plane?

Since I have never flown, I can't tell you what I do, but FH says he ties bright on colored ribbon on all of the handles.

My parents went a step above this & tied a very colorful silky scarf to the handle. You could also put a big X in masking tape.

A lot of people tie ribbons/yarn on their handles, but you can also buy different (bright or patterned) luggage tags.

I don't know how, but we pretty much know our luggage without any of that stuff.

2 yarn ties on each handle - people often have 1, so when there's 2, there's no mistaking ours!!!

last time it was orange and yellow.

I have used whatever curling ribbon I have handy. I tie a bunch of it to all the handles and some zippers and curl.

My luggage has 'flair'

I take a HUGE sidewalk chalk and write 'Holly's Luggage' on it!

Naah..I put colored ribbon on it in lime green

I have a bunch of that curly ribbon you can buy in the greeting card aisle. I just took it off the sticky backing and tied it to my handle. It's really awesome because I can spot my luggage from a mile away with the fuschia and tangerine ribbon!

It also worked out for some of my colleagues who I was travelling with because they were worried about losing their luggage--I have so much ribbon my luggage that I snipped off a piece and gave one to each of them!
