Those with RB solitaire e-rings...

What kind of wedding band do you have or are you going to get?

Pics please.

Re: Those with RB solitaire e-rings...

I've got a round brilliant with baguettes - We're getting matching 'plain bands' for me to wear alone - and I think I want this one also -- but I haven't found any yet that REALLY 'fit' comfortably next to my setting. Any ideas?

I suppose you mean round brillant. THat's what I have. Find a wedding band was hard. At first I thought I wanted channel set, and then when I started trying them on, they just didn't look right with my e-ring setting. This is the wedding band I ended up getting (except mine has a total of 9 tiny diamonds - 3/4 carat total):

chmlengr,
I like that! That's one of the contenders for me.

Judging from the pic of her ring that Jenny5150 posted, maybe RB means 'really big!' Nah, I think it's round brilliant. I have a round solitaire, and I'm getting a band like chmlengr posted.

Edited because I'm redundant. :)

I really like this:

but I think that's a ring that needs to stand on its own. I would like to wear my e-ring with the wedding band.

LOL @ SomedayBride!!

Re: Those with RB solitaire e-rings...

I will be wearing almost the same exact ring as chmlengr except it will have 6 diamonds across the top. I wanted an even number of diamonds because my solitaire is set so high that one of the prongs hits against any ring that I put next to it, causing them not to lie flush against each other. With an even number of diamonds, the prong fits right in between two diamonds on the wedding band. I hope that makes sense. I had it custom made to do this.

I agree...that ring does need to stand alone. Get the simple, round one posted above, and save the pear eternity band for an anniversary gift to wear on your right hand.

Re: Those with RB solitaire e-rings...

how far in advance did you guys start looking for wedding bands?

Re: Those with RB solitaire e-rings...

I chose the wedding band that I did because my e-ring is a family heirloom. Of course I wanted huge diamonds on my wedding band. But up against the e-ring, it totally took away from it. That's why my wedding band has small diamonds. I have an actual picture, but it would take me some time to find out where it is

I felt the same way chmlengr. Anything bigger took away from my engagement stone. I think they look really pretty together.
Jenny - I started looking very early just to get some ideas of what I wanted and because I was so excited and couldn't wait anymore! We ordered it last month and my wedding is in July.

I'm still a little indecisive about this one but I know I want some diamonds in the band. I also like the idea of using rubies and I want the band too be a little thicker than my e ring. I've also seen a few bands that have an antique filigree style that I like also. I'm confused I guess I have to just go look and see prices.

Re: Those with RB solitaire e-rings...

I just want a plain platinum band. I have a RB plat. e ring, so i think that'll look nice. I don't like the diamond bands.

Either this (on the right):

or diamonds just on top but made to look eternity (where you don't see any platinum on the sides) like this:

My ring is RB but has one baguette on either side

Just anything that is BIG!!

Nahh...

I have no idea.... When do you start looking?

Hay Jaybaby that second band is mine. My E ring is a RB with baguetts on each side too. I found this band more confortable than an eternity ring.
