Those with/had Honeymoon Registries (w/POLL)

FH & I did a HM registry through honeymoonwishes.com. My MOH stuck ONLY the honeymoon registry info in my shower invite so people would lean towards it (though I'm registered at Fortunoff too). So far, I've received $250 worth of gifts (you can check what you got just like on fortunoff).

It's definately a concept that is hard to grasp but is extremely helpful to me since FH and I already live together.

I liked honeymoonwishes.com the best because you can retrieve your $$ at any time. Some of the other registries don't let you have it until the week before or something which IMO, is stupid since the trip has to be paid for in advance. And, most of the other sites charge 9%. honeymoonwishes charges 7.

What company did you use if you don't mind me asking?

I'd like to find one that offers some kind of print out or gift cerfiticate that guests could include in their bridal shower card or wedding card. And I would also like one that offers a 'do not notify the bride and groom' feature as I like surprises!!!

I have just about all to the bigguns in my favorites list so I'll have to just sit and research them all! I think my family and friends will get a kick out of it!

I am the proud owner of 4 crystal candlestick sets so this is soooo perfect for us!!!

We booked our HM through In & Out Travel - a vendor on here, that referred us to www.honeymoonwishes.com - guests can print out a little note/card (gift certificate) to put into their card, and yes, they can select not to notify the bride & groom when they've received a gift.

Best decision I've ever made!

i did a registry with thebigday.com
you can make a web page and a full registry. Your guests that buy you a gift here can print something out to give you or thebigday.com will send them a card to give. we can collect our money whenever we want.
