I found out the Paradisus in Punta Cana to be amazing, now they are opening 2 in Playa del Carmen. I fell in love with this new resort, royal service and some swim up suites. I was all about it, then I saw the price .... even tho my honeymoon will be a gift from my parents I cant expect them to pay that ... sigggghhhhh a girl can dream
What about excellence playa mujeres? Only opened 3 or 4 yrs ago and they have two story rooftop terrace with your own private pool. It has great reviews on here and on trip advisor as well. It's not too badly priced.

The Excellence Playa Mujueres is in Mexico. But there is an Excellence in Punta Cana, I stayed there in Nov and loved it!

Def check it out. I was looking at the one in Dr but its older so the rooms are not as modern and wasn't crazy about the decor and for same price could have a private pool. I got quoted 4100 for the excellence rooftop for 7 nights. It also has a great honeymoon package, private dinner, spa special for the both of you, and a few others.

try going to a travel agent and asking the price....our honeymoon on the sandals webite was sooo much without airfare and the agent told us a completly different number! soo much cheaper
