I got this from my DOC, and I have found it so helpful. Just wanted to share the list! Its just a guideline, so its always best to use your own discretion... HTH
Hair - $50 to $75
Makeup - $50 to $75
DJ - $100 - $150
DJ asst - $50 to $75
Band – 10% of total bill
Photographer - $150 - $200
Photographer asst - $75 - $100
Videographer - $150 - $200
Video asst - $75 - $100
Limos - $50 each
Floral delivery - $25 to $50 each
Maitre-d’ - $3 to $5 per person
Bridal attendant - $75 to $100
Officiant - $25 to $50
Altar boys - $25 each
Ceremony music - $25 to $50
Wedding coordinator’s assistant - $75 - $100
Wedding coordinator – at your discretion

Some do, but this is 'suggested'. You should tip to your own discretion of course.

Hair - $50-$75 isnt that a little excessive? Is that per person or for the whole group?

I think group. I have a large group, so I think I better tip more to the poor girls who have to do my bp and the mommies and the Italians...

i dont understand!!! a tip is for great service ... i get the bridl attendants etc but the DJ? tho the photog? their JOB is to do what they are doing.....

You can tip them when they come to your house in the morning to drop the flowers off. And usually they stick around for you to see the room to make sure you love everything!!!

i personally think those are on the expensive side.
i was an alter server & i never got $25 for a wedding. the most i ever got was $50 for a funeral but the guy that died was in the Mafia.
& limos $50 a driver? for them to do the job they get paid for, for 3 hours.

Like I said ladies, its suggested. You don't have to tip them this at all.
I won't be having a band or alter servers etc, however, depending on the job done, I will use my discression when tipping. She just provided a guideline.

I disagree with some... this is what i did primarily:
hair and makeup - 15-20% of total bill
DJ (who also MC) - $150
percussionist - $75
dinner singer - $35 (he was phenomenal- should have given more but tips were handed out in beginning by DOC)
Photographer - $100
Videographer - $100
Floral delivery - $10 (i only had bo-ks)
Maitre-d’ - $5 pp bc he went above & beyond
Bridal attendant - $75
Wedding coordinator’s assistant - $75

I agree it must be a whole group, my hair will only cost $ 80 on my wedding day to do ! The list is great , thank you

I know we have to tip but...... I love how we HAVE to tip on top ofpaying an seriously insane amount for their service 'b/c we are a wedding' AND on top of that as well, haveing to buy the vendors plates at the wedding!
I want to be a vendor! You get to charge A LOT, EAT A LOT AND MAKE CASH TIPS!

Thanks for the list! It's a great guideline.
I always felt comfortable tipping %. like 10% if I like something. 15% if I really like it and 20% if they were outstanding.
