OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!! so my friend just told me this story and I had to share I'm still in shock
So get this This girl who works with us is getting married and her sister-in-law-to-be called her up to see if it would be okay for the-mother-in-law-to-be to wear a white dress...correction a WHITE BRIDAL DRESS. WHAT????????? Yes so apparently the mother-in-law-to-be told her daughter that she found this great dress that she loves and feels comfortable in and wants to wear but wanted her daughter to speak to the bride to convince her that it was okay for her to wear it.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME???????? I am stunned.
I had to share. Apparently mother-in-laws can be a little nutty huh!

Wow. And I thought my FMIL was bad picking out a dress before my mom. Any chance she could get the dress in ANY other color??????? NO ONE is supposed to wear white except the bride....and maybe the flower girl.

it's totally legit. I know the girl who is the bride and she is freaking out because she does not know what to say or how to react.
No it's a real bridal dress...apparently carolina herrera and get this it sounds like she is doing this on purpose because she doesn't want her son to marry her, apparently she disapproaved of their relationship. BUT STIIIIIIIIIIILL!!!!

omg what the hell, doesnt everyone know you can't wear white to a wedding! my goodness, some people are out of their damn minds. I did go to a wedding where the MOB wore ivory, I was shocked about that!

Sounds like the MIL is trying to be a real beotch. Definitely, she should have FH speak to his mom.
But to be quite honest...my mom loves white dresses. Everytime we go to a wedding she wants to wear a white dress. I have to explain to her over and over again and here's how the conversation goes...
'Mom..only the bride wears white. Understand..Comprende (spanish)? Uh and no off-white, coz that isn't flying either. So go find yourself a nice dress in any color except white.' She huffs and puffs like a little kid.
I told her for my wedding she is absolutely forbidden to wear white. But I know she will try to sneak it by me....
