Thoughts about the situation of the Pope...

Thoughts about the situation of the Pope...

First of all, I'm for the Pope and hope that he's comfortable...

But I was thinking, do you think that the vatican might delay on the announcment of his death (be in now, or in the furture) in order to try to figure out what happens next?

I'm just thinking about it with the media everywhere, if this would even be possible.

Huh.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I just feel so badly when ppl have to suffer so publically and people jump to ideas and conclusions. What happened to media research and ethics?

No, I don't think they would delay it for any reason. It's not the first time a Pope has died with a media circus around. I remember when the last two died. They have a protocol that they have been following for hundreds of years. There is nothing left to figure out

I was just curious, because a lot more media has been introduced within the last 26 years.

Just hoping that he is peaceful

I would think that the Vatican might be able to delay an annoucement if the Pope is very carefully guarded.

I am so sad.

Having grown up with him as my Pope, I can say that this man would probably not want people mourning over him. He is 84 years old and has led such a full life that has impacted millions of people in such a positive way. I wish I could say that at 84.

Even though I try to think like I say above, I am still sad for him and only hope that he is not in any pain and he can live or die peacefully.

I think the Vatican knows exactly what it's doing....no delay needed....he has been sick for some time.
