Thoughts and ideas for photos before heading to the RH

Hi Everyone,

We are having our wedding on a Thursday, ceremony will be either 4 or 4:30pm. The RH will begin cocktail hour at 8pm. We are having a summer wedding!

We are planning on taking pictures before heading to the RH, and were thinking of going to Old Westbury Gardens before heading to the Westbury manor.

What are you girls doing for photos before heading to your RH?

Does anyone know of a nice place to take photo during the sunset?

I always wanted to wait to see my hubbie until I walk down the aisle. However, interviewing photographers and even my officiant they sold me on seeing and doing pictures before the ceremony. I am having my ceremony and reception at the same place. So there is no time inbetween. I am not a pose picture type girl. 10 mins and I'm done. I want to enjoy my party. Also you get to have a few moments to talk and embrace the moment before getting married. I don't know if that helped?

Yes it did. We are getting married in Church followed by heading to the RH, so in between we can get the photos taken.

I will see what we can do.
