Thoughts and opinions please

I have been talking with this vendor on etsy about making a castle card box for my wedding. I talked to her about it cause I liked her work on another card box. I thought she was creative. For one thing, its taken her like 4 months to get it done, and now looking at what she has to offer, a kid in middle school could do better! it looks very half-assed and not like a castle at all.

so my question is, do i give her the opportunity to fix it (tho I honestly can't see how it can be fixed without going back to scratch) or do i turn around and say I can do better, thanks but no thanks?

I feel bad and all, but it is NOT at all what I wanted and it is not worth $60 the way it is.

If you really feel like its not worth it then just walk away. You shouldnt feel obligated to go with her if her sample stunk. Thats the point of a sample. Mabye tell her that your not thrilled with how it came out and see if she offers to give you another sample. If that doesnt happen then I would just walk away...

Castle card boxes are so cool! I think we've got similar themes, but I'm trying to DIY mine myself. We'll see how that turns out.

After doing some research on trying to figure out how to describe to her what i want, i think i COULD make one not too bad.... it may come down to that...

Edit: so it looks like it IS coming down to that. Oh well...
