thoughts, discussion.. Bin Laden book.. profits, purpose

CNN Story

As a person who's currently involved in a lawsuit to have terrorist and those who support terrorist pay for the damages they've caused me (though I know it seems IMPOSSIBLE to win) I find it VERY VERY frustrating to know they are allowing this book out.

I realize they are only paying the translator of Bin Laden's words..but it's still annoying.

I'm poor and NO ONE has helped me in any way shape or form since my injuries from 9/11. Comp pays for medical but I know of factual cases of folks living NEAR the WTC who got money for 'nightmares' they got from hearing the events. I live with them everyday and now doubleday is going to allow this monster and his platform more coverage to make a buck?

I am annoyed.

It's a touchie subject so if no one response I'll understand.

(and because everyone asks, NO I didn't qualify for the Victims Compensation Fund, that was NOT available to any victims who had injuries handled by Workers Comp if the Comp claim was still open at the deadline, which mine was)

My thing is how is it that he is writing a book but yet he hasn't been captured yet. Shouldn't we be focusing on apprehending this monster and make him pay?

What about the Son of Sam law? Even though it's his translator, I would think a case could be made for him as being complicit in hiding Bin Laden. At least, that's what I think should be fair and logical. Which means nothing really. But it's wrong that victims won't see money from this book. I for one won't be buying it.
