friends or family. I just found out that my good friend wants to start a family. And we are thinking of ttc in the near future as well. when i told me Dh that i would love for me and my freind to be preggo togthere he was asked 'why?' I said WHY???!!! It would be awesoem to share that experience.His thinking is that the person who gets preggo first would want to be preggp by herself to have all the attention and everythign. Now i asked my friend she agrees with me 10000%% and i know that i would love to be preggo with my friends as well. I was engaged and plannign my wedding with a bunch of my friends so why woiuldnt i wnat to shrare pregnancy wioth them?? THough on this??

I don't have sisters but I have 4 girl cousins I am extremely close with ... we all want to get pregnant together -- we actually have a timeframe in mind. One will be on her second but the other three of us will be on our first.
I grew up in a family where 8 out of 10 cousins were born exactly one year apart for an 8 year period so we were all extremely close growing up. There was always one older and one younger cousin around so we ALL hung out from the youngest to the oldest.
As adults we'd like to recreate that togetherness for our children. Those girls are my best friends.

I would LOVE to have a relative that's preggo as well right now. It would be great to have somebody to shop with and vent with that knows EXACTLY what I'm going through. I wouldn't worry at all about the limelight being taken away from me. In fact, it would be really fun to have joint baby showers. Plus the best part would be having children close in age. Our children would grow up together, which would be wonderful.

My friend already told me she wants to be pregnant w/ her 2nd while Im on my first.....so we can be at the same time--she thinks it would be nice-- LOL
She'll probably be preggo w/ her first in a few months and Im obviously not ready for that yet .......

I have one cousin who is 11 months younger than me, but we are very close, she was a BM in my wedding....
I would love to ahve kids who have close cousins like that! But, I do not see it happening, because we would like to TTC in the next year or so...and the closest is my brother who is engaged...but I do not know how immediate kids are in their future...they are concentrating on a wedding in the next year or so...LOL

Unfortunately, I have no sisters .. and all my female cousins and friends aren't in a position to have kids .. though I do have a great set of friends that DH & I would LOVE to be preggo along with , if the timing works out for both of us
We already feel a bit 'behind' since my husband's 2 brothers both have three kids each, so all 6 of the little ones are so close and its so cute to see how much fun they have together at holiday time.
My brother has a 1 year old, so I'm really hoping in the next year to get preggo so we can raise our kids together... and then maybe by kiddie #2 my SIL and I can be preggo together (wishful thinking!)

All my siblings are 7+ years older than me. But my sister and one of my sister-in-laws were probably pregnant at the same time once. One was always pregnant at some time or the other a few months or after another one because I've got 8 nieces and nephews, the oldest being 8. I can't say it ever caused any problems.

Right now at my school there are 5 of us that are preggo together. One girl and I are two weeks apart and I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE having her to go through this with!!!! We have become INCREDIBLE friends through this and now our children will be friends too!!
I wish I had a sister-in-law to share in this with but all of DH's sisters are much older than us and my brother will probably never marry. So no cousins the same age for us

I have some experience with this--I am pregnant and due on 9/5; my sister is pregnant (with her second) and due on 9/10!! Five days apart!!
I have to admit, I changed my mind on this a couple of times. When she first told me I was so excited; then after it sunk in, I was slightly ambivalent--I thought it would be really corny to show up to all the family functions pregnant together and I also thought everybody would always ask me about her instead of focusing completely on MY pregnancy, worried she'd look better than me, etc. Well, now I've put my selfish thoughts aside and I realized it was all silly. The important thing is that we and our babies are safe and healthy and I realize now that it's actually really exciting to share this time with her--even though she's still probably going to look great while I look like a cow!!

I think it would be cool. I was joking w/my cousin the other day..The 2 of us share a bday and I said to her 'Now, lets have our kids share a bday'. She said 'let me get married first (July 05). With my FSIL she said when shes pg w/her 1st I should be pg w/my 2nd. So, yes, I do discuss it w/family!

i agree. i have a cousin who is 3 months older than i am, and she is my maid of honor. i have 2 other cousins that are 10 months younger than me, and we are all really close. it was a lot of fun growing up with them.

I don't have any sisters, & only a few married friends, but if it was someone I saw all the time I don't think I would neccessarily want to.
I'm nuts. I'd feel in too much competion to not gain more weight than her, I'd probably be resentful is Ihad mornig sickness & she didn't.
Well, I guess I amthignking fo 1 friend in particular who is pregnant now, If I was pregnant too, I think I'd get sick of hearing how muchmaternity leave she gets, knowing I'd be back in 3 weeks.
Although, if I found out soemone was pregnant at the same, time I wouldn't be all' you stole my thunder' b/c any attention taken away from me is good.

I'd LOVE to have someone to go through everything with & have our kids grow up together!! That is something I never had, and would love to have for my children. But since DH and I are so far ahead of everyone, I don't think it will happen right now. Maybe on our second or third child, I'll be on the same page as one of my friends.

I have a cousin that I am very close with and she is due in July I am due in October.
I have a friend that is due 3 weeks before me. We planned our weddings together, we were in each other's bridal parties and now we are pregnant together. I dont mind because she likes to be in the spotlight and I don't so it takes the pressure off of me.

My younger sister is TTC for #2 and DH and I are also TTC. It would be fun to be preggo at the same time! (Although I'm sure it would kill my parents because we live in VA and my sister lives in NY!)

When I was pregnant w/ my son. So were 2 of my friends. We loved it.
Funny thing was that all the Daddies to be were named John. All 3 Mommies were taller then the Dad's & All 3 children were born on a Tuesday! LOL
