Thoughts on the Bayville Crescent Club?

Thoughts on the Bayville Crescent Club?

I previewed the Bayville Crescent Club and really liked it. However, I read some mixed reviews about the food and service, although they were from like 4 or 5 years ago. Has anyone been to a wedding or had their wedding there recently and willing to offer some feedback? Thanks I appreciate any help!

I went to a wedding there in May. The couple got married on the water there. It was beautiful. The cocktail hour was inside and outside. It was very nice and the food was really good. I had a filet mignon it was delicious! Hope that helps you.

I went to a wedding there about 4 years ago and it was great, they had the ceremony outside and the CH was inside/outside, the food was very good, loved the location

I guess I am a bit biased, as I am a Crescent bride. We tried the food at the restaurant several times and were pleased every time. I have also spoken to friends and family who have attended weddings there before, and everyone said the food was good.

I was originally planning to get married at Crescent Club but now getting married at Water's Edge...on a beautiful day, Crescent Club is AMAZING. I was a bit nervous about the weather for the ceremony and I did not like the rain location inside. This would only be a problem if you are planning to have your ceremony on site. I also thought that if I was paying a lot for the location, I want to be able to experience it and not be stuck inside if it was raining.

On another note, my FH and I ate dinner there one night when we were still trying to make our decision and our meal was mediocre at best. This definitely helped us make decision faster. On the other hand, FH's parents go there on a regular basis and love the restaurant. I think we were just there on a rough night...

In all, I think that they will make a beautiful wedding and as long as you aren't crazy nervous about weather if you are having your ceremony there, I think it will be an amazing venue.

Re: Thoughts on the Bayville Crescent Club?

My cousin got married there last August. The CH food was good, but it wasn't overwhelming in terms of the quantity. the passed trays seemed to only make their way to certain parts of the room and they kept the doors open to the outside making the inside by the food very hot (it was close to 90 degrees out that day).

the dinner was delicious. i did think it was strange there was only one bar and it was outside the reception room. we did have a great time though and are looking forward to goign back to the non family wedding there in September.
