I just was browsing Alfred ANgelo Website because I love so many of the dresses there....I am kind of undecided on this one...I think I like it, but I am not sure...would do the skirt with and Apple/Garnet Color..///
I like it but it seems a little on the casual side JMO.

I think the dress is very classy and it looks like the dress would be good on all body types. It is hard to find a dress that looks good on everyone!! Good Luck!!

I don;t think I like it that much....I think the top is way too casual....and not so crazy about the tie thing around the waist....I think I want my girls in something a little more elegant, I think with flowy sleeves...but its hard to find that...the wedding is in October, so spaghetti straps and strapless are kind of out of the question...At least some fall styles are now coming out so I can get some other ideas!
Thanks for the opinions..I think I agree tha it is too casual, and I think I have a top like taht I would wear with Jeans!! LOL

I wouldnt limit your choices based on time of year - I saw girls in spagetti strap dresses in February. A lot of manufacturers could do wraps to match the gowns.

i am not really crazy about it. sharon stone did that look several years ago at the emmys. she took one of her husband's white button downs with a black skirt. JMO

I know what you mean about not limitiing it to the time of the yeear, but None of my girls are into being sleeveless...wraps can do wonders, so maybe it will be decieded, but I really love the flowy sleeves....& the dresses they ahve tried on, they love those too...very comfy...ALL of them have a complex about being sleeveless, and I do not blame them because I do not wear anything sleeveless either..thats just me tho

I've seen this dress and I just loved it, but most everyone I showed it to said 'Eeeww!'. I think it's a great dress, but it doesn't get good reviews. I agree that it could be a bit too casual. Great colors though.

Holly, I agree with Christine; you don't need long sleeves because it is October; I saw pictures of strapless wedding dresses in February. I think a spaghetti strap dress would be more formal and elegant JMHO
