I have heard good things on all...

I have been to VIP, Glen Island, and Villa Barone...all three weddings were beautfiul and the food was wonderful...I enjoyed all 3 A LOT if I was picking out of those I would personally go with Glen Island but I really like all three. HTH

Im a little biased, since i booked vip, Glenn Island is the priciest on davenport. If you have the money to spend go with it. VIP is great the ppl accomodate you in everyway they can they are so helpful! food is delish!

When searching for reception halls, I did look at three of these places. I went to Glen Island Harbor club. I didn't like the fact that I have to use their in house florist, and I couldn't use the outside area for my wedding because I don't have three hundred guests. I did look the fact that they have the different lighting decor.

The Surf Club, I absolutely love. It was pricey for me, so I didn't go with it. But it's absolutely gorgeous.

VIP I had my prom there and think there food was excellent, I went back to explore the place for my wedding, but didn't like how rude the banquet manager was, so I just left.

went to a wedding at Glen island..it was great!

My friend is getting married in june 2010 and I went with her to check out Glen ISland and VIP...

Glen Island- BM was a JERK. They were ridiculously priced and you have to use in house florist..

VIP- the BM was WONDERFUL...the price was much better, they had really unique things to offer and the grounds and rooms were really pretty.

She ultimately decided on a different place, but was very close to booking with VIP.

i'm a surf club bride!!! its absolutly beautiful!!!!!!!!!!! it is also being renovating (just basically changing the color scheme and making everything new) so it will look amazing when it is done!!!! FM me for any questions... i have also been to a wedding at VIP

I have to add I looked at Glenn and there price was not much more than VIP (my friend looked there) the quote I got from Glenn Island was comparable in price with VIP and the others....

Thats strange...I looked at both and Glenn Island was sig. higher in price. Maybe its the time of year?

I went to the Surf Club a couple of years ago and it was really good. I was just at Villa Barrone's 2 weeks ago and the food was really really good. I like the way you can come up through the floor there.
