Has anyone heard of a store in NYC called Threads?? Someone told me they have a good selection of bridesmaids dresses there. I heard its somewhere in the downtown area. Does anyone know the address? Ive had no luck searching online for the address.

I've heard of it, and actually went to look. Try googling 'Thread' (it's singular, not plural) + bridesmaid. They have very nice dresses, but they didn't seem all that organized. Also, I remember hearing pretty bad things about their customer service.

Thanks, actually, Im just looking for a particular color in a particular style, to see what it looks like before I order it. I was told my someone that Thread would definitely have it.
I ordered my dresses from Thread. They were horrible to me and my BMs and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
My BBB complaint against them went unanswered, so its on record that they have one unresolved complaint.

I went to Thread with my BMs while we were looking for dresses. I found the staff was snotty and not very helpful. The girl yelled at my sister for starting to look at dresses and then left us alone to fend for ourselves once we were started. (BTW- I was convinced that we had to get the dresses there before we went because I thought they were so beautiful)
We ultimately got our dresses at Jenny Yoo. When we picked the dresses we worked with Jenny, herself. The dresses are in, they are absolutely beautiful and the staff was nothing but nice and accommodating. (When we went to the seamstress, she even commented on the quality of the dress).

I think they have really nice dresses, but I also think they are very expensive..around $300 each. My girls got their dresses from a place called Aria. They have a website AriaDress.com, the only problem is that there is no showroom in NY. Although, they do have a try-on program. (my girls dresses were $215)
