Three Day MS walk while pregnant???

I'll give my usual opening statement and say that I am not TTC yet, but DH and I have been talking about the big 'when.'

I really want to do the three day MS (multiple sclerosis not morning sickness) walk in September. I am hesitating, though, because I don't want be in the position of not being able to follow through. The soonest that we would TTC is August/September. If I was a few weeks or a month pregnant, does anyone know if I would be able to do the three day walk? I don't want to sign up if there is a chance that I would have to back out.

Any thoughts??

I wouldn't have been a happy camper if I had to walk anywhere during my first tri! I felt like crap but could hide behind my desk all day at work.

But depending on the timing, if you were just a few wks it may not really matter, as long as it wasn't too strenous.

I didn't feel sick til 6 wks or so.

Im 7wks now...and IM TOOO TIRED to do ANYTHING...Plus my all day gagging....I dont want to walk NOWHERE!!! But everyones different!!!

How someone feels varies with every pregnancy, so it really depends on how you will feel and how much you walk on a regular basis..
I Love walking, and I did lots of it in both of my pregnancies, whether being somewhere or just day to day shopping/errands.. On 2 different occassions, I was on vacation (one week in Virginia and one week in Bermuda) and did PLENTY of walking the whole time...

It really varies person to person. Im sure you can do just a little of it each day, and not the entire walk each day.. Stop and rest, drink some water, and take your time

I'm one of those lucky ones who, although exhausted all the time, probably could have done it (never felt sick at all). However, with having to go to the bathroom every five minutes, I'm not sure how much a the chance you'd get to go along the way?
