I don't envy you. I used to take that 12 hour ride to go visit my grandma in Marysville OH and ugh! I love grandma but that ride is unbearable. Miles and miles or corn fields. And Pennsylvania takes forever to get through

Yes PA does take forver and Ohio has to be the most unscenic place. Its horrible.

I think I have made that trip about 25 times in my life. Grandma lives on a farm and when I was little, it was fun, but then I grew up.

I went through Ohio when I moved cross-country...and I have to agree....eastern Ohio is not pretty...but really driving through NYC isn't either...

at least you are staying in a hotel...so its not 24 hours of MIL!!!!

why not bring a board game like Trivial Pursuit to pass some time...this is/was an annual event for my family on t-giving

Were going out to Dinner, for TG. Which is good.

I really cant complain. We spend a 1 1/2 days with them and then we come home. I love being home

NYC isnt pretty either but at least there is stuff to look at.

I'll be honest and say that Columbus is a nice city. But other than that, the state is REALLY boring.

The big cities are nice and some of the suburbs are really wholesome and nice places to raise a family. The farms are what bore me.
