throw in

Hello for all you bridal sepcialists.. I am conferring with you.. When you met with your catering facility were there any throw in's or last minute throw ins that you requested? Just want to make sure that I do not leave anything out and you guys have at this point been there done that.. I also realize that the halls are not going to tell you everything and they charge extra for almost everything once the hall is booked

Re: throw in

once it came closer to the wedding, my hall sent us a list of extras we could add in....at an additional cost of course.....we chose not to have any of them....although i wouldn't have minded springing for the chocolate fountain!!!

Re: throw in

Hi Mrs. B -

I have found that catering halls (the ones I met with) were not flexible with their per person pricing...so instead of trying to get the price down, I tried to get more for my money.

They offered Sushi at the cocktail hour for an extra $5.00 a person...so I called my sales person and said - I have to be honest...my FH REALLY wants the sushi - but our parents are paying for the wedding and the price you gave me is their limit, they won't budge - I'm not sure what to do because we saw another place we liked that said they would include it - but I really want to get married there...bingo, free sushi.

Try to figure out what is important for you to have at your wedding, at work it girl!!
