Does anyone know if you need someone to clean up the rose petals after they are thrown?
I figure they are natural so when the blow away it would be ok.
Now, someone said they should be cleaned up so I'm not sure.
TIA

Re: Throwing real rose petals outside church
Depends on the church - mine cleaned up our tossed rice for us, but I know I've heard that varies.

Re: Throwing real rose petals outside church
Now I found something called 'Designer Rice' that is OK for the birds to eat and is shaped to people can't slip on it.
I wonder if the church allows this designer rice and if it needs to be cleaned up.
I'll definitely have to ask them. Now I don't know what to get for the guests to throw......petals, 'designer rice' or bubbles.......did you know they come scented now???

you just have to ask your church.
My church won't allow ANY rice (even biodegradeable rice) because there are starving people in this world and we shouldn't throw food), but thank GOD they're okay with rose petals, which is what I want anyway.

you have to ask your church....mine is letting me, but I have to pay a $35 clean up fee....I thought the same thing, that the wind would blow them away, but apparently not...they don't want people slipping on the petals....
