My church doesn't allow anything to be thrown in or outside the church. Has anyone, or will anyone just throw rose petals anyway regardless? I really want to do this, it makes me so mad that we are not allowed. I feel like I'm just going to do it anyway. It makes for a cuter picture too.

Re: Throwing rose petals
Find out if the church will let you throw rose petals. They might let you if you have someone to clean up afterwards. Never hurts to ask.

Re: Throwing rose petals
I met with the priest last night at my church and he told me we cannot have the flowergirl drop the flowers or rose petals outside either...but I'm gonna do it anyway. I am 'donating' a lot of money and I have done every sacrament at that church and I am going to do it anyway.

That's exactly what I'm saying. I'm just going to do it anyway. We are paying 'donating' a lot of money, and I want to throw rose petals outside.

Re: Throwing rose petals
Hi girls,
I think I''m going to do the same thing, but only have perhaps some of the bridal party throw the petals and the rest will blow bubbles. But keep in mind to have someone clean them up after. If you dont, they will eventually make it impossible for future brides. They may start to hold a fee for insurance so that you wont etc. So at least be considerate and clean them up, so they wont complain abiut the safty factor.
