Good morning ladies!!!

I've been getting a bunch of responses so I can start setting up appointments with vendors this week, so its pretty exciting. But man, some of the initial price quotes are higher than I thought (specifically hair and makeup!!) Sooooo

1. If you weren't saving for a wedding right now, what would you be doing with this money (be detailed :)

2. And if is wasn't a wedding you were saving for... would you be saving this much?

If we weren't saving for a wedding, I definately don't think I'd be saving as much. I have a habit of wasting extra money on stuff I don't need. Not even clothes, but like random stuff, extra lunches out, coffee every day... at least being stationed where I am I don't have the ability to spend the money like that!!

I think money would go into a vacation pot, because I love to travel and that is my number one thing.

I'm sure everyone will be saying, to buy a house, but we're not even thinking of getting one for another 5 years, so maybe if we did it would end up being some banging house! No idea what kind or even where, but I said big enough for 2 kids, with a nice yard for a puppy and a good neighborhood (I have an unwarrented and now warrented fear of intruders, so I'm more particular than most)

I would definately be doing work on my house, traveling and saving money for a down payment on another house.

If I wasn't saving for a wedding, I would be saving for a house. If I weren't saving for the wedding, I would be saving. I just might be saving a little less..

1. If you weren't saving for a wedding right now, what would you be doing with this money (be detailed :) - Our parents are practically covering all of our wedding expenses, so most of the money we're saving is going towards our HM and downpayment. Our parents wanted us to be able to buy something (along with being able to buy furniture), so they're paying for the wedding.

2. And if is wasn't a wedding you were saving for... would you be saving this much? It's always good to save for a rainy day. Maybe we wouldn't be saving as much but we'd def. be putting a lot of money away.

We would be saving for a house. Although my guess is we would just be going out to dinner more and spending money without really thinking about it.

Absolutely not. We have been saying for a year that we should open an account....blah blah blah and we never did. Three days after we got engaged the account was opened and plan in place!

1. I'd be using the money saved to move out of my parents house.

2. I would hope to be saving this much, but I since I don't pay rent or food, I'd probably have less saved just for that price alone.

1. We prob wouldn't be saving for anything....maybe going on a vacation, who knows. I'm trying to think of what we were doing with our money before getting engaged. I can't think! lol

2. We def wouldn't be saving this much....saving this much sucks right now! We aren't doing anything fun! lol It sucks being broke

I would be saving it regardless! FH and I want to buy a home sometime next year so we need to SAVE!

We would prob save as much just b/c a home is such a huge purchase

Saving my money for a house and 2 new cars (one for me and one for FH).

2. And if is wasn't a wedding you were saving for... would you be saving this much? Most likely. We really need a place to live.

If we weren't saving for a wedding, I'd probably not be saving as much, but I would definitely be Putting more money down to pay off my grad school loans! And of course travel and save for a house, but I just hate having those grad school loans over my head!

We feel like we are always saving for something (especially vacations) so yep, we would probably be saving as much!

I would be using the money to pay off my student loans and going back to school/ Also saving up for a trip to Florida which we are not taking this year.

WELLLL i would probably use up the money towards the house that we want to buy this year....and a car b/c me and FH share one car....

Yes i would definitely be saving this much!! me and FH are very good at saving up money but the past year has hit us hard b/c i lost my job and then had my baby son....just got back to work in AUgust so im trying to catch up with the expenses....very stressful!

Prob not, we never saved before! I am glad we are now
