Thursday July 5th question of the day

Good morning ladies hope everyone had a good 4th!

Today's question is will you be seeing your FH before the ceremony?

I am very interested in this because I am debating on doing pictures before we get married because the church will not budge on timing but I guess we will see what the photographer thinks

Nope, we have like 3 to 4 hours inbetween and church is four miles from reception. I feel like well have too much time!

Yes because I beleive it's a superstition not a tradition and if I believe one superstition I may believe them all and totally drive myself crazy. Besides my FH brings me calm and truly is the one person I know will never fail me and if I didn't see him I would probably be a nervous wreck!!

I originally did not want to see FH before walking down the aisle but we are getting married at our RH and would'nt have any time for pix afterwards because we want to attend our CH. Plus we are getting married at 7pm in Oct so if we waited til after the ceremony we wouldn't have any pix in sunlight.

No I will not be seeing FH before the ceremony. I want for the first time he sees me in my dress to be when I'm walking down the aisle and I am excited to see his face light up.

We're doing all our pictures before the ceremony since we're getting married at the RH. I know the photographer will still stage the pics on such s way as to capture the moment he sees me. I really don't think it will take away from my walk down the aisle; that's special no matter what. Plus i really want to enjoy my CH

Yes, I will be seeing FH before the ceremony and actually look forward to it. Our ceremony is at our RH, so really it will allow us to make most of cocktail hour...

Despite Fh and I both being pretty outgoing to most people, he tends to get really emotional privately. I wanted that moment to connect, see each other and take a deep breath so I'm not a wreck later.

Plus we'll do some family shots between the ceremony and the reception - so we're probably going to miss half of cocktail hour anyway.

Nope. We're getting married at our church and he'll see me for the first time as m walking down the aisle. So much more dramatic that way I love it!

The first time he will see me in my dress is when the church doors open. It was important to me for that to be the moment.

I am not going to see FH before the ceremony. We r erring married at a church and I think there is something so romantic about him seeing me for the first time when in walking down the aisle.

We wont be seeing each other before. Ive dreamed about that moment when the Church doors open since before I can even remember. We have 2 1/2 hours between the ceremony and when cocktail hour starts so we have plenty of time to get all of our pics done

FH and I will be seeing each other before. We plan to do all pictures before the ceremony.

We will have our 'First Look' at the hotel, then go to a location (TBD) with our bridal party to take all bridal party shots. We are going to ask all family members to arrive 1-2 hours before the ceremony so we can take all family photos. FH has a HUGE family, so it will be better to take the pictures before hand. There's no way that we can fit all photos into the 1 hour for cocktail hour. FH and I also want to enjoy our cocktail hour.

We've been living together for a few years, so there's no need to see each other for the first time during the ceremony.

We won't be seeing each other the night before or the day of until I walk down the aisle. I will be more relaxed that way and I want out big moment to be int he church. But everybody differs. If someone isn't religious like that or if before hand is more special to you then of course do it that way. All depends on whats special to the couple :)

Nope, the first time we'll see each other is when I start the walk down the aisle. I didn't think it mattered to me, but when I had to decide between having the ceremony in a church and the RH, it ended up being the deciding factor.
