Good Morning Ladies, Its ALMOST friday......... and it looks like th sun is going to come out......
I am not positive on the 'rules' if the QOTD is supposed to be wedding related, so if it is, I aplogize in advance for breaking the rules, but I was thinking about this, this morning so....
The Question of the Day is.......
Who has had a real impact in your life & who do you admire?
I woud have to say I admire my grandmother, she had polo really bad as a child and was left in a wheelchair since she can not use her legs. But she didn't let that stop her and she still had 5 kids and was our schools first kindergarten teacher......She had a rough life as a child, as a child she was in and out of a state hospital since they didn't have a treatment or POLO yet. So I really admire her just becuase she didn't let any of that slow her down and she still lives life to the fullest. And props to my grandfather too, for sticking next to her and helping her do daily activities still to this day, they both live at home and he helps her in and our of her wheelchair when she needs it.

I admire my mother. She raised my brother and I as a single mother since I was 13. My father was barely around and then he passed. I know how difficult it was for her both personally and financially, but she always put us first. She is my best friend and my rock and I am so thankful to have someone like her in my life.

I admire my mom. She raised 3 kids, worked, went to school, had dinner on the table every night, kept the house clean and still made time to be at every soccer game, recital, art show, etc. Pretty impressive so when people tell me im just like my mother my response is I sure hope so!

I will also have to say my Mother!!! She is my rock and my everything. She has done so much for my family that words can't even express the gratitude i have for her. She managed to work full-time, cook, clean, laundry, be there for me and my bro she is truly the best! She has made me the strong woman that I am today.

I would say my aunt (dad's sister)- growing up I idolized her- , kind of a rags to riches story (but it was by no means 'rags') she worked very hard & now is an awesome mother, who has an awesome job- but remains completely level headed...when my parents split 5 years ago, she pretty much stepped in and took over as a mom to me...she is def my rock

I may come of as a real biatch for saying this, but I don't admire anyone. There was no one I looked up to except myself. My family is total crap and only I ever thought of is I am not going to be anything like them when I grow up.
I set my own standards of what I wanted to achieve creating my own ideal image. Yes there have been plenty of friends there for me that have helped me out, but not in a way where I thought 'I look up to this person'. Honestly I looked up to female video game characters and movie characters and mashed that all up into one ideal.
Who better to look up to then characters that take on saving the world and doing whats right (as silly as that sounds). If these women (albeit fictional) could handle that then that made me realize I could handle my family putting me down and tearing down my childhood.
Sorry if that was way too deep and depressing.

My parents and my aunts have really big a big influence on my life and I look up to all of them. I have several aunts who have a immaculately clean and beautiful, homes, great jobs and a family and lots of fun vacations. If I could do that one day, I would be in bliss!

I would have to say my aunt (MOH) I had alwys idealized her growing up because she was the first one in my family to not only go to college but to get a Masters. She worked a lot and paid for school herself and is now living in London for over ten years. We are twenty years and three days apart so we are very close and it is because of her I wanted to go to school and get my Masters. Even though, we major in different fields we have over come a lot.

I never really admired one in particular. I admire different traits of people. I admire the challenges people face, and how the overcame them. One person comes to mind and that is my field supervisor. She is an earth angel. I never met anyone who sees the beauty in EVERYTHING. She truly is an inspiration to anyone who comes her way. To know her is to love her, beautiful heart and soul.
